国立新美術館をはじめ、国内外で展覧会の開催やアーティストのキュレーションに携わってきた中川太郎平による国内初の写真展「内なる存在  Holy Person」を開催いたします。

中川太郎平は、多方面の芸術分野におきまして、活動を重ねて参りました。そのひとつが、東京と京都という日本の東西にある2つの太郎平画廊となります。東京日本橋の画廊は2023年4月に開廊し、京都・西本願寺西の画廊は本年8月に開廊する予定となっております。「内なる存在 Holy Person」展は、東京日本橋の太郎平画廊におきまして開催いたします。

The first photography exhibition by Tarohei NAKAGAWA will be held in Japan entitled “Inner Being - Holy Person”, who has been involved in organizing exhibitions and curating artists in Japan and abroad, including at the National Art Centre, Tokyo.

Tarohei NAKAGAWA has been active in a multitude of artistic fields. One of these is the two Tarohei Galleries, located in the east and west of Japan - Tokyo and Kyoto. One in Nihonbashi, Tokyo opened in April 2023 and the other in Nishi-Honganji West, Kyoto will open in August 2023. The exhibition “Inner Being – Holy Person” will be held in the former Tarohei Gallery in Tokyo.

日本人は高い「精神性」を持ち合わせ、個の感受性から独自の芸術、文化を築いてきている。
中川太郎平の作品は「精神性」対象の深層を撮りきっている。

Each person in the world (on Earth) has unique psychological traits.
The Japanese have a profound 'spirituality'  art and culture through their sensitivities.
Tarohei Nakagawa's work captures the depths of that 'spirituality' aspect.
