京都宇治で新感覚な茶の体験！

京阪宇治駅すぐそばにあるお茶と宇治のまち歴史公園（愛称：茶づな）では、お茶のミュージアムをはじめ、茶臼から抹茶づくり体験、聞き茶体験、体験型で楽しめるお茶のテーマパークとして知られる場所。この場所で、宇治の本格的な茶の体験と日本文化を教えるアメリカ人インストラクター、ゼイン・ジョンソン氏による禅、書道、「THE G-ZO EXPERIENCE」とコラボ開催が決定しました。抹茶と仏教の禅の修行との関係を深く掘り下げる本格的な日本文化体験を提供します。是非ご参加ください。

茶で整える技術を学ぶ『茶善』

抹茶の最高級品である「宇治茶」を体験し、自己を見つめ直すきっかけとなるようデザインされた雰囲気の中で、漢字を描き、心を落ち着かせることを通して、禅の精神を感じていただく、日本文化の本質に浸る特別プログラムです。
お茶のミュージアムにて、学芸員によるガイドツアーを行います。お茶について学んだ後、伝統的な方法での茶臼でお茶を挽き、お茶のスペシャリストに指導を受けながら、自分だけの抹茶を点てることができます。お茶を飲むことで、ゲストの心と体を整え、禅の修行に基づいた書道と瞑想の体験を深めることができます。

“THE G-ZO EXPERIENCE” by Zane Johnson, an American instructor of Zen, Japanese calligraphy, and Japanese culture based in Kyoto and Osaka has teamed up with Chazuna to create an authentic Japanese cultural experience to dive deep into matcha tea and its relation to the Zen practice of Buddhism.

Experience “Uji tea,” the highest grade of matcha, and feel the spirit of Zen through drawing kanji characters and calming the mind in an atmosphere designed to inspire self-reflection.
This is a special program to immerse oneself into the essence of Japanese culture. Guests will be given a guided tour by one of the Tea specialists at the Tea Museum. After learning the ins and out of tea, the guests will be able to make their own matcha tea by grinding the tea in a traditional tea millstone and instructed by a tea specialist how to make your own matcha tea. The consumption of the tea will help to prepare the guest’s mind body and spirit to deepen their experience with calligraphy and meditation based on the practice of Zen.
